Hangzhou has always regarded the promotion of talent development as the core element of the entire cross-border e-commerce development.

As the first Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone in China, it has been a priority pilot since its establishment seven years ago and has always been at the forefront. Since 2021 in Hangzhou, there have been 48,265 cross-border e-commerce stores and 411 cross-border e-commerce sellers whose transaction volume exceeds 20 million yuan. 22 unicorn companies that are valued at more than $100 million (quasi-unicorn companies). Attracting more than 3,600 teams from all over the world to sign up for the competition, 27 companies have obtained excellent program delivery and overseas talent docking opportunities; in order to improve the level of Hangzhou’s international talents and provide employment opportunities for international students, two sessions of “Sail to Hangzhou” Global Cross-border E-commerce Entrepreneurship and Innovation were held. contest.
